pros: had an awesome experience with a research award, met tons of new friends, had my life and view of everything entirely changed by a stay in the psych ward, new home, got an awesome kitty, a new computer, and so many more positive experiences that i can’t think of at the moment

cons: depression nearly killed me, missed out on school and experienced setbacks due to it, lost a lot of opportunities because of it, meds + nasty side effects
