because white kids aren’t abandoned as much as black kids. also white people feel the need to prove how not racist they are and they feel better about themselves if they “save” a black kid
that is very true. i don’t like the mentality that some have when adopting a kid from haiti, ethiopia, etc. it’s almost as if it’s like “yeah look at me i’ve adopted a kid that’s black and also from a third world country i’m a good person” and of course they have done some good but i hate that mentality. i think race should not matter in adoption. it should be whether you truly want a child or not but i’ve still yet to see a white kid adopted by a black family
